Job Summary
Behavior Technician at MeBe Family in Oceanside / North San Diego, CA part-time role supporting children with autism in a 1:1 setting. You’ll teach and nurture behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills, follow treatment plans developed by BCBAs, and accurately record progress in Central Reach. Responsibilities include coordinating with families and supervisors, clocking session times and notes, maintaining a organized workplace, assisting with meals and diapering, and contributing to treatment planning. Paid training to become an RBT is provided, with supervision and shadowing to support certification. The role requires a minimum HS diploma, 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and ability to pass a background check; availability Mon-Fri; part-time shifts. Competitive pay ($22-$27/hour) and benefits offered.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- RBT certification preferred; must obtain within 45 days of employment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to work 1:1 and in group settings
- CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain before working with clients
- CPR certification preferred
- TRICARE certification preferred
