Job Summary
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position in Hawaii (Koloa, Lihue, Kapa‘a, Waimea) focusing on 1:1 in home and community with children and young adults diagnosed with autism. Responsibilities include implementing behavior therapy techniques per the treatment plan, collecting and reviewing data, maintaining therapeutic relationships with clients and families, providing training and habilitation to develop skills, and assisting with transportation as directed. Requires RBT credential or pursuit of credential; preferred 1 year experience with developmental/intellectual disabilities. BAYADA offers training and supervision, health insurance, PTO, and weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- One year experience working with children with developmental/ intellectual disabilities preferred
- RBT credential or pursuing RBT credential required for services
- Work directly with clients following treatment/behavior support plans
- Documentation and data collection of interventions and progress
- Provide habilitation, training, and support as per treatment plan
- Transportation related to activities as directed by treatment plan
