Job Summary
Implement intervention strategies using direct therapy, monitoring, and consultation under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Teach targeted behaviors for children with Autism and related developmental disabilities using specialized techniques like incidental teaching and pivotal response training. Collect and track data from sessions, reinforce positive behavior, and assist with parent training in line with individualized protocols. Communicate progress orally and in writing with administrators, parents, and community members while facilitating transitions between agencies. Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, identify emergency situations, and ensure child safety. Requires flexibility of hours and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited university
- One year of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
- Associate's degree (60 college credits)
- Minimum of two years of direct relevant experience working with youth and families who require behavior management to address mental health needs
