Job Summary
Under the direction of the BCBA, the Registered Behavior Technician implements treatment plans and behavior intervention plans in 1:1 therapy settings. Responsibilities include writing objective session notes and parent communications, adhering to HIPAA, tracking BCBA supervision hours, maintaining RBT certification, following the BACB Ethical Code, attending monthly staff meetings, teaching and modeling functional play, following intervention plans, and displaying professionalism. Requires reliable transportation between assigned worksites, CPR/First Aid training, and ongoing training. Eligible for paid training to become a certified RBT and potential bonuses tied to billing milestones; includes a comprehensive benefits package. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, communication, and adherence to clinical and organizational standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computers
- Ability to document precisely
- Strong social skills
- Pass the RBT Certification Exam within 60 days of hire
