Job Summary
Provide one on one in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy, collecting behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions. Conduct Discrete Trials, Natural Environment Teaching, and various teaching/reinforcement methods in line with the Behavior Support Plan while working collaboratively with a BCBA to implement basic principles and teaching procedures. Maintain a positive attitude as an active participant in team activities, meetings, and training, while setting and achieving goals that benefit the patient, the team, and the BT/RBT. Perform continuous learning through feedback and coaching, ensuring consistency and reliability for the child's success.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or College Degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Ability to pass a background screen, reference checks, and drug screen
- Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and spend time standing as well as an ability to lift items up to 50 lbs
- Endurance to move quickly from a seated position to a standing position to accommodate the treatment plan and/ or for the safety of the patient
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate office equipment, etc.
