Job Summary
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans one-on-one with children, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance. Use evidence-based techniques to support children with autism, requiring comfort with physical tasks like standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds. Work in a team environment with comprehensive onboarding training provided to equip candidates for the role.
Required Qualifications
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Registered Behavior Technician Certification
