Job Summary
Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors for children with autism. Implement evidence-based ABA techniques, collaborate with a team, participate in comprehensive training, and support families. The role involves physically active duties (standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds) and is based in Arizona City, AZ with a full-time schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Passionate about helping children with autism
- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
