Job Summary
Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions, applying evidence-based interventions to support clients' development and behavior management. Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as developed by the BCBA, providing direct care including communication, socialization, academic skills, and daily living activities. Collaborate with the BCBA, Teachers, and instructional assistants to discuss treatment progress, participate in team meetings, and engage in regular communication with families to provide updates and reinforce strategies at home. Maintain RBT certification by completing ongoing training and education while actively participating in supervision sessions to ensure fidelity in implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Active RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Ability to actively engage with children, including physical movement such as kneeling, standing, sitting on the floor, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to remain patient and composed in challenging situations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with behavior management systems and data collection procedures
- At least 1 year of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
