Job Summary
Conduct Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy in school-based settings on Oahu, working directly with students to reduce challenging behaviors and foster independence. Implement behavior therapy techniques, document interventions, and collect behavior data as specified in client behavior plans. Collaborate with teachers and school teams to support students in the classroom environment while establishing relationships with clients and families. Provide training and assistance to help students acquire skills and maintain personal relationships. Complete the BAYADA RBT Academy training program and pass the RBT exam to become a Registered Behavior Technician. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3 pm with weekly pay starting at $30.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree OR 48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 OR a High School Diploma/GED with Passage of the ParaPro Praxis assessment (BAYADA assistance available)
