Job Summary
Lead projects through all phases of design and construction for a diverse portfolio spanning commercial, multifamily, institutional, and community sectors. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and overseeing design development, technical documentation, and construction administration. Prepare and review design packages, permit drawings, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with applicable codes and firm standards. Provide technical leadership and quality control across multiple projects, lead client meetings, and mentor junior architectural and technical staff. Support contract administration including RFIs, submittals, and site reviews. Required Qualifications
- Registered Architect with the MAA, AIBC, or another Canadian provincial association, with the ability and willingness to transfer registration to the AIBC
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering architectural projects through all phases
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
- Open to relocating to British Columbia's Interior Region
