Job Summary
Lead projects through all phases of design and construction while managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables. Coordinate multidisciplinary consultant teams, prepare design packages, and provide technical leadership across commercial, institutional, and community sectors. Support contract administration including RFIs, submittals, and site reviews, and mentor junior staff. Ensure compliance with Canadian codes and firm standards while leading client meetings. Requires Registered Architect status with OAA, AIBC, or transferable registration, plus five years of experience. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $110,000+. Relocation to British Columbia's Interior Region is required.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Architect with the OAA, AIBC, or another Canadian provincial association, with the ability and willingness to transfer registration to the AIBC
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering architectural projects through all phases
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
- Open to relocating to British Columbia's Interior Region
