Job Summary
Lead projects through all phases of design and construction, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams. Prepare and review design packages, permit drawings, and construction documentation to ensure compliance with codes and firm standards. Provide technical leadership, oversee construction administration including RFIs and site reviews, and lead client meetings to maintain strong relationships. Mentor junior staff and support contract administration across commercial, institutional, and multifamily sectors. Relocate to British Columbia's Interior Region for a competitive salary and relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Architect with the SAA, AIBC, or another Canadian provincial association, with the ability and willingness to transfer registration to the AIBC
- Minimum 5 years of experience delivering architectural projects through all phases
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Strong knowledge of Canadian building codes and construction practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment
- Open to relocating to British Columbia's Interior Region
