Job Summary
Answer incoming phone calls regarding patients and consult with the Head Nurse or physician to present the patient's problem and resolve it or direct calls to the appropriate person. This triage role supports the oncology clinic's patient access and clinical workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse
- Licensed in the State of Residence
- Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital
- Current CPR certification
- BLS
- Clear results of a thorough background screening
- Various vaccinations, including the influenza vaccine
- No drug/nicotine test positive results
