Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care for individuals with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other lung-related illnesses. Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients while coordinating care with other departments and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers. Ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Work rotational night shifts from 1830 to 0700 as a part-time Registered Nurse on the Medical 6b floor.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Must meet all state board of nursing requirements
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period
