Register Nurse

Provide nursing care to a defined group of patients while adhering to Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of Washington ambulatory Nursing Care Standards and the Nursing Code of Ethics. Use the nursing process to assess needs, develop written care plans, and determine priorities based on essential patient needs and available resources. Collaborate with the Health Care team to coordinate services, facilitate admission and discharge planning, and modify individual care plans as patient status changes. Assess patients and families on psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs, providing teaching, counseling, and orientation to available nursing services and the Consumer Bill of Rights. Implement preventive measures, encourage compliance with therapeutic regimens, and participate in staff orientation, student education, and multidisciplinary quality assurance activities. Requires a Washington RN license, BLS certification, and an Associate degree in Nursing. Full-time position in Seattle, WA.
