Job Summary
Oversee nursing operations across assisted living and memory care communities, conducting significant change in condition assessments, supportive device evaluations, and RN delegation. Maintain infection control practices, review adverse events for correction plans, and ensure strict compliance with federal and state regulations. Lead management teams, support associate recruitment, and facilitate resident and family care conferences to manage risks and ensure quality service delivery. Travel to assigned locations for meetings and emergencies, including overnight stays, while promoting company culture and values.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a certified nursing program
- An active and unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Oregon
- Experience of 5 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience in long-term care or community-based setting
- Available and on call for emergencies day and night for assigned communities
- Able to travel to designated locations
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Strong documentation skills and ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care
- Ability to lead a management team and promote staff development
- Knowledgeable of regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to nursing practice and community-based care for seniors
- Current CPR certification
- Weekend and On-Call Availability Required
- Requires travel to multiple locations
