Job Summary
Oversee nursing operations across assisted living and memory care communities by conducting significant change in condition assessments, supporting device evaluations, and managing RN delegation. Maintain resident safety through PRN medication parameters, infection control protocols, and adverse event reviews while ensuring strict compliance with federal and state regulations. Lead staff development, assist in recruiting wellness associates, and participate in resident-family care conferences to facilitate communication and manage risks. Travel to assigned locations for meetings and on-site support, remaining available for day and night emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a certified nursing program
- An active and unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of Oregon
- Experience of 5 years or more in the care of senior adults and adults with cognitive decline
- Previous supervisory and/or management experience in long-term care or community-based setting
- Compassionate individuals who will represent our company in a positive and professional manner
- Available and on call for emergencies day and night for assigned communities
- Able to travel to designated locations
- Demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- Strong documentation skills and ability to develop systems for monitoring resident health conditions and for ensuring efficient and safe delivery of resident care
- Ability to lead a management team and promote staff development
- Knowledgeable of regulations, laws, and ordinances relating to nursing practice and community-based care for seniors
- Current CPR certification
- Weekend and On-Call Availability Required
- Requires travel to multiple locations
