Job Summary
Conduct wellness education and connect residents to supportive services and resources within affordable housing communities in Lowell, Lawrence, and surrounding areas serving older adults. Deliver non-clinical support as part of a team expanding the wellness component of the Resident Services program. Requires current and active RN or LPN license with 2-3 years of community setting experience, bilingual English/Spanish ability, and strong communication skills. Position offers $40/hr with a 12-hour weekly schedule.
Required Qualifications
- MA licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Current and active RN or LPN License
- 2-3 years of experience in a community setting such as a senior supportive housing, community health center, public health nurse, managed care health plan case manager, or other related setting
Desired Qualifications
- some experience with community nursing, homecare, or related area
- Experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities
- Demonstrated working knowledge of area healthcare plans, supportive services and other community resources
- Strong communication, organization, writing and computer skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
