Job Summary
Oversee implementation of wellness processes, systems, and programs across nursing departments while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Provide on-site and remote daily support to communities, including filling in for absent Wellness Directors, training department heads, and assisting with new community onboarding. Deliver clinical oversight by monitoring EMR/EMAR systems, conducting quality assurance audits, and managing plans of correction following site visits. Collaborate with the management team to communicate initiatives and address immediate resident needs, including clinical risks and licensing concerns. This role requires travel between states up to 75% of the time and availability for extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a compact license or licensed with either of the following: A baccalaureate degree in nursing and a minimum of two (2) years of full time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience in nursing, at least one year of which shall be in a home healthcare agency or Community health program that included care of the sick at home; or A diploma or associate's degree in nursing and at least four (4) years of full-time, or the equivalent of full-time, clinical experience ...
- Experience and passion in working with older adults
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, community team members, peers and AgeWell Solvere Living team members
- In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
- Able to spend long periods of time walking or standing
- Able to react quickly and accurately in any situation
- Ability to travel between states up to 75% of the time
- Must be available for weekends and holidays as assigned
- Must be available to work on shifts other than the one for which hired
- Must be available to work extended hours (up to 16 hours per day)
- Must be subject to exposure to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis B & C viruses
- Must be prepared to deal with hostile and emotionally upset Residents due to mental status
- Background, criminal, and drug tests may be required
- May be asked to submit to random drug test during employment
