Job Summary
Regional Vice President provides strategic and operational leadership for an assigned region encompassing multiple property portfolios, while also directly managing a designated portfolio. This role drives income optimization, expense control, and long-term asset value, and includes developing and executing marketing strategies, operating budgets, and comprehensive monthly financial analyses. The position oversees regional Real Estate Managers, Assistant Regional Real Estate Managers, and corporate team members supporting regional operations, and leads recruitment, coaching, and performance management to sustain high-performing teams. The ideal candidate communicates clearly, champions transparency and consistency with clients, and upholds Sunrise Management’s service-excellence standards. Must hold an active CA Real Estate License and be able to travel to properties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Active CA Real Estate License required
- 3rd Party Property Management experience
- Ten or more years of property management experience with a minimum of three years Regional Vice President experience in conventional multi-family
- Knowledge of local and state landlord/tenant law and legislative activity impacting property management in California
- Must live in geographic area
- Experience managing a portfolio of eight or more properties
- CPM designation highly desired
- Experience with core Property Management Systems (Entrata OneSite, Yardi, AppFolio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial acumen
- Availability of reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance
