Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned long-term care facilities while partnering with executive leadership, clinical teams, and administrators to ensure regulatory compliance, financial performance, and operational excellence. Drive financial results by managing budgets, labor costs, and operational expenses, then analyze financial statements and census trends to identify improvement opportunities. Support facilities during regulatory surveys and audits, monitor quality measures and corrective action plans, and lead performance improvement initiatives focused on resident-centered care. This role requires extensive travel throughout the assigned region and involves managing multi-facility operations, recruitment, and succession planning. Hiring is contingent upon STGi's selection as the successful awardee in an active Request for Proposals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA/NHA)
- 5–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in long-term care or post-acute healthcare
- Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and survey processes
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational metrics
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to travel regularly within assigned region
- Must be able to continuously deal effectively with stress created by residents, multiple tasks, noises, interruptions, and work cooperatively as part of the health care team while maintaining a pleasant attitude
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
