Regional Vice President - State National

Job Summary
Identify potential clients and build relationships through cold calling, networking, and attending industry conferences, bank functions, and after-hour events. Establish meetings with client contacts to consult on State National Companies products and services, then partner with existing clients to develop solutions that ensure satisfaction and profitability. Aggressively monitor competitor activities and maintain accurate client profiles using the Microsoft CRM system while completing required paperwork. Close deals to meet annual sales quotas for the defined territory by managing a long-term sales cycle of nine months or more. Submit a regional quarterly business plan and attend periodic sales meetings with regional staff as required.
Required Qualifications
- Property and casualty insurance experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Property and Casualty License(s) as required by perspective states within assigned territory
- Basic computer proficiency and basic Microsoft Office skills
- Strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Effective communications skills to include verbal, written and listening
- Ability to manage time effectively by using outstanding organizational skills, excellent analytical skills and managing multiple priorities
- Self-motivation, drive, and discipline to work with little or no supervision
- Ability to work a long term sales cycle (9 months +)
- 4-5 years outside sales experience in a related industry
- Consultative sales experience
- US Work Authorization
Desired Qualifications
- College degree or equivalent preferred, will substitute education for experience
