Job Summary
Oversee 6+ multifamily properties across multiple cities by recruiting, training, and supervising on-site management teams to maintain highest operating standards. Conduct monthly property visits and quarterly audits to ensure compliance with company and owner policies, while reviewing and approving payables, capital bids, and lease rate increases. Communicate budget variances and operational updates to asset managers and ownership representatives, forecasting revenue and expenses to adhere to management agreements. Monitor leasing activity, lease expirations, and life/safety inspections daily, ensuring strict adherence to property presentation standards and financial reporting accuracy. Requires full-time travel, valid driver's license, and ability to work in an office setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years successful management experience
- Multi-site experience
- Knowledge of onsite property management procedures
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel, Publisher
- Experience with industry-specific operating platforms such as Yieldstar, Yardi Voyager, Rent Café CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to direct the work of others
- Strong knowledge and understanding of budget management and expense control
- Must be willing and able to travel
- Valid driver's license
- Ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
- Must be able to pass criminal background, motor vehicle reporting, drug testing, and reference checks
