Job Summary
Regional Vice President for Transamerica Retirement Solutions focused on selling qualified retirement plans to small and mid-sized markets through financial intermediaries (banks, wire houses, regional broker-dealers, employee benefit firms). Responsibilities include prospecting within an assigned territory to achieve sales goals, developing a network of advisors/consultants/intermediaries, building plan sponsor relationships through direct meetings, participating in proactive marketing campaigns, and managing a territory of target prospects. Requires FINRA Series 6 & 63, Life & Health License, and strong understanding of retirement markets and ERISA; candidates should be self-motivated with a proven sales acumen, excellent interpersonal/public speaking/presentation skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Extensive travel (>50%) with a remote work/field travel environment is expected. Compensation framework includes salary (approx. $90k–$100k) plus annual bonus and possible commissions; comprehensive benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications

- Life & Health License
- 3 years of sales experience in the retirement plan industry
- ERISA understanding
- Interpersonal, public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to manage resources in a fast-paced environment
