Job Summary
Lead development and execution of the Market Area Strategic Business Plan to source and convert franchise hotels, including new construction projects in California and Nevada; build a high-impact pipeline of prospective franchisees, negotiate deal terms, and collaborate across internal teams to drive brand growth; travel within the assigned territory (up to 75%) and engage with developers, lenders, brokers, and franchisees to optimize growth and brand identity; leverage market insights, competitive analyses, and strategic planning to meet growth goals and contribute to ongoing franchise development initiatives for Choice Hotels’ Signature Brands (Comfort, Sleep Inn, Country Inn & Suites).
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of prior sales experience preferred
- On-property hotel operations or sales experience preferred
- Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience desirable
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
