Regional Underwriting Supervisor

Regional Underwriting Supervisor leads and mentors the Commercial Lines underwriting team in Melville, NY, managing underwriting activities, reviewing accounts with the Regional Underwriting Manager, and driving regional loss ratio and production goals. The role emphasizes cultivating solid relationships with independent agents and internal staff, supervising underwriters and underwriting assistants, and ensuring alignment with departmental objectives and standards. Candidates should have a 4-year degree or equivalent experience, at least 5 years of commercial underwriting experience, and prior supervisory or management experience. CPCU coursework is desired, and NY agency relationships are highly desirable.
