Regional Trade Marketing Specialist - East Coast

Job Summary

Execute Electrolit's shopper and trade marketing programs in assigned East Coast regions, ensuring alignment with national strategy. Provide field and account teams with promotional resources, trade assets, and sales materials while collaborating across sales, retailers, and distributor teams on campaigns. Visit stores to coach sales teams on merchandising standards, identify obstacles like display gaps, and develop solutions to meet market start dates. Regularly review execution data in Repsly to assess compliance and effectiveness, providing clear updates to leadership on performance and key wins. Track program results, report on competitive activity, and support incentive programs and local tradeshows that drive incremental visibility. Gather field feedback to improve future programs and toolkits. Based in New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, or Charlotte, this field-based role requires travel, lifting up to 30 lbs, and occasional evening or weekend work.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, sales support, or retail activation
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel within assigned region
  • Ability to lift and carry retail displays, POS materials, and product cases (up to ~30 lbs)
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and navigate stores for extended periods
  • Frequent use of a mobile device for reporting, photos, and communication
  • Occasional setup and breakdown of retail or promotional displays
  • Occasional evening or weekend work depending on promotional events or retail needs
  • Ability to transport displays, POS materials, and product as needed
  • Ability to work independently while staying connected with manager and core teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, or retail accounts
  • Experience in beverage, CPG, or fast-moving consumer goods
  • Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting mobile execution data and photo audits, with Repsly strongly preferred
  • Ability to analyze field execution and identify opportunities to improve retail presence
  • Organized and able to manage multiple programs, accounts, and priorities across a wide territory
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing, retail execution, and distributor partnerships in CPG or beverage industries
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with retailers, distributor partners, and internal teams
  • Knowledge of merchandising principles, display standards, and in-store promotional strategy
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially when training or influencing external partners
  • Proficiency with basic Excel/Google Sheets, and photo documentation best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent brand execution
