Job Summary
As a Regional Teller Trainee, you will create memorable experiences for customers and provide efficient, effective, and courteous service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions such as deposits and withdrawals, and promoting Rockland Trust banking products. The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and a customer-oriented approach. This is an entry-level position that may require occasional weekend work and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure success in the role. Candidates with prior teller experience or customer service skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using technology, including computers
- Sales and service-oriented personality
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members
- Ability to work within normal office requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week
- Ability to successfully complete our training program
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years prior teller experience or cash handling/customer service skills
