Job Summary
Regional Technology Support Specialist responsibilities include delivering desk-side and 2nd line IT support within the assigned region/cluster, managing incidents and service requests in a timely manner, supporting outages, and ensuring high user satisfaction. The role requires experience in a modern ITIL-based IT service environment, proficiency with Windows 7-10 and Microsoft Cloud technologies, strong communication skills, and the ability to contribute to end-user computing initiatives, project deployments, and knowledge transfer back into operations. The position is full-time on a 6-month FTC with a focus on providing high standard IT support across Nuffield Health sites and collaborating with IT users.
Required Qualifications
- Experience of working in a modern ITIL-based IT service organisation
- Providing technical support within a complex IT infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills
- Technical ability to support outages and Windows 7-10 and Microsoft Cloud technologies
- Desk-side support within a dedicated region/cluster; 2nd line remote support
- Deliver high standard of support to IT users; incident and service requests handling; project deployments support; knowledge transfer back into operations
