Job Summary
Provide functional and technical support to BlueScope Recycling associates by managing assets, uptime, and performance of networks, machines, and systems. Ensure standard company hardware and software are maintained, record all requests for customer satisfaction, and document resolutions for future reference. Set initial priority of requests in the ticketing system, assign resources, load authorized software onto PCs, and place requisitions for new hardware and software. Collaborate with peers, partners, and vendors to support new technologies, participate in team meetings, and recognize developing trends. Travel up to 15% and participate in on-call week and weekend rotations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience including desktop support, network administration, and computer hardware support
- Networking, PC and server management systems experience
- Experience deploying and supporting O365
- Experience in supporting multiple locations, users, computers and servers
- Experience with AD support and configuration
- Travel required up to 15%
- Participating with the on call week and weekend rotation
Desired Qualifications
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or combined relevant experience
