Job Summary
Regional Support Specialist to travel within a 3-hour radius of Chicago providing preventive and emergency maintenance on robotic systems, serve as a technical resource and leader for troubleshooting and repairs, deliver comprehensive technical training to colleagues, prioritize safety on customer sites and internal operations, maintain and optimize spare parts inventory, and collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to align service support with customer needs while fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree (AA) and 6+ years of experience in robotic system maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting (or equivalent training).
- Proven expertise in electrical, mechanical, and robotic systems, including controllers, preventative maintenance procedures, and related equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport, address concerns, and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation (service reports, spare part orders) and communication with customers.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing robotic systems both verbally and in writing.
- Valid driver's license with full coverage auto insurance and willingness to travel extensively within the designated region (100% travel required).
