Job Summary
Provide technical guidance and documentation for customer and Field Service Engineer calls regarding MI-SPECT equipment. Conduct remote diagnostic evaluations, identify complex problems, and develop action plans to aid field representatives. Preempt potential issues, perform independent research, and deploy corrective actions with minimal management direction. Mentor TST 1, TST 2, and TST 3 personnel while disseminating product knowledge and supporting the Operations Manager on research initiatives. This 1st shift remote position requires an Associate degree in Electronics or Biomed Engineering with 10 years of MI-SPECT repair experience. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, DICOM, and networking, with English and Spanish fluency required. On-call rotation and weekend/holiday work are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree or vocational training in Electronics or Biomed Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Technical proficiency in repair of Siemens MI SPECT equipment of 10 years
- Firm knowledge of DICOM
- English & Spanish speaking
- Must be willing to be on call
- Must be able to work rotating weekends/holidays
- Must be able to work a shift between the hours of 1100 – 2000 U.S. Eastern Time Zone
- Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical operation of MI-SPECT
- Knowledge of CT theory and operations
- Experience in peer coaching, technical support role and SAP
- Remote, NAM/LAM or Canada region position
