Job Summary
Regional Specialist IT Interfaces to join Continental in Otrokovice, Czechia. Responsibilities include implementation/integration of machines for big data collection and analysis; participation in digitalization projects (IIoT and Cloud – edge computing, Kubernetes Cluster); specification/documentation of hardware for accurate data in manufacturing information systems; spreading essential know-how across production plants; IT-interfaces consulting for Continental plants worldwide; project management in IT interfaces; collaboration with technical departments; travel according to planned projects; part of an international team across AMERICA, EMEA, APAC; 30% travel; university degree in a technical field; 3+ years industrial automation experience; Step7, TwinCAT, IPC management; C++, C#, Python; English at least B1; benefits include subsidized meals, pension contribution, tire discounts, cafeteria budget, 25 days vacation, children's recreational activities, flexible working hours and home office option.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in a technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation within a manufacturing plant
- Project management skills
- Knowledge of Step7, TwinCAT, and IPC management
- Proficiency in programming languages (C++, C#, and Python)
- Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of the time)
- English language proficiency at least at B1 level
