Job Summary
Manage daily operations and maintenance for the Wagon Trail Energy Center solar plant, prioritizing team safety and maximizing performance per operational frameworks. Enforce OSHA compliance, lead Lean Six Sigma projects, and oversee financial reporting, inverter availability, and contractual obligations. Recruit and guide site resources while collaborating with internal stakeholders on maintenance improvements and customer interactions. Represent NextEra Energy in community and customer engagements, ensuring all activities align with corporate policies and local regulations. Monitor plant budgets, maintain equipment, and complete required reporting. Full-time exempt role with relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
- Experience: 2+ years
- Leadership Experience: 0+ years
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Possesses either a bachelor's degree in business or engineering or has accumulated six years of equivalent experience in a related field
- Demonstrated adaptability to different geographic locations for potential future roles
- At least five years of hands-on experience in leading field services operations, preferably within utility-scale solar operations
- Proficiency in collaborating effectively within a complex organizational structure and across all levels of the Company
- Strong executive presentation skills
- Certification as a Six Sigma green belt or a comparable quality assurance qualification
- Proficient in network infrastructure, communication protocols, and web technology
- Established track record of managing profit and loss responsibilities
- Exceptional analytical capabilities and a track record of thriving in cross-functional and team-oriented environments
