Job Summary
Conduct on-site program replenishments, receiving, put-away, and stock rotation using inventory management systems. Perform laboratory services including order delivery, glassware processing, biological waste handling, chemical inventory reconciliation, and media preparation. Reconcile reports to ensure contractual requirements are met and proactively address customer concerns within established timeframes. Participate in safety programs involving hazard identification, inspections, and incident reporting while engaging in process improvement activities. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in customer sites requiring PPE, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of related experience within a laboratory setting or warehousing environment
- Able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses a strong desire to serve the customer
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel at the customer site
- Independently operates handheld scanners to enter data in various systems
- Analytical skills to reconcile reports
- Demonstrates computer proficiency
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite of software
- Organizational skills to multi-task and meet due dates
- Ability to work in environments with varied temperatures (cold rooms, outside, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime, as needed
- Must successfully complete and satisfy Thermo Fisher's pre-employment screening (including background check and drug test)
- Must satisfy any customer-mandated screening, credentialing, or badging requirements
- Must wear steel-toe shoes
- Must wear safety glasses

- Must be able to lift 30 - 40lbs regularly

- Must be able to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
