Job Summary
As Regional Service Manager for SMT, you will lead service-related activities in Northern Netherlands, managing approximately 60 FTE in the service team and the service workshop. This role combines leadership with operational and tactical responsibility, requiring the development of a local action plan aligned with the broader business plan and SMT strategy. You'll coach and motivate your team, strengthen customer relationships through cross-functional collaboration, and focus on process improvement and customer satisfaction. You'll ensure adherence to QESH guidelines while monitoring performance through clear KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading within a service or technically oriented organization
- Affinity with technology, preferably construction equipment or capital goods
- Ability to translate strategy into concrete action plans and realize them with your team
- Economic insight and experience in managing financial results, KPIs, and budgets
- Coaching leadership style with the ability to motivate and develop people
- Clear communication skills and ease in interacting with customers, colleagues, and management
- Focus on process improvement, quality, and safety (QESH), with active management of compliance and continuous improvement
