Job Summary
Conduct inspections of mechanical, electrical, and water treatment systems across two waterpark locations; diagnose issues and coordinate repairs. Oversee electrical troubleshooting on pump motors, VFDs, and safety systems in wet environments. Develop preventative maintenance for water filtration and quality systems. Lead and mentor maintenance technicians while driving safety culture. Manage parts inventory, coordinate specialized vendors, and plan seasonal maintenance and capital upgrades. Prepare budgets and report operations to leadership. Requires 5+ years in amusement parks, OSHA 30 certification, and ability to travel. Salary $95,000 to $115,000.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years mechanical and electrical maintenance in amusement parks, waterparks, or mission-critical operational environments
- Advanced expertise with high-capacity pumps, motors, VFDs, and electrical controls
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of electrical safety in wet/corrosive environments
- Experience with water treatment, filtration systems, and water chemistry testing
- Proven team leadership and supervisory experience; advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
- Knowledge of ASTM F24 standards and ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training; familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel between locations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Comfortable at heights and in confined spaces
- High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Electrical certification or formal electrical systems training
- Pool Operator Certification or water treatment systems background
- PLC programming or industrial control systems experience
- ASTM F24 ride inspection certification
- Vendor relationship management experience
