Regional Sanitation Manager

Job Summary
Develop and lead a regional sanitation strategy across multiple facilities, standardizing procedures, SSOPs, and cleaning schedules. Partner with Operations, Quality Assurance, and Engineering to ensure audit readiness against FDA, USDA, and third-party requirements. Lead facility teams, manage investigations for corrective actions, and monitor performance through inspections and KPIs. Evaluate chemicals and technologies to reduce costs and minimize downtime while delivering training programs. Prepare reports for senior leadership and build a culture of safety and accountability. Travel 30–60% between locations and work weekends or alternate shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 10+ years of sanitation, food safety, quality assurance, manufacturing, or related experience
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, preferably managing multi-site sanitation operations
- Experience in food manufacturing, beverage production, CPG, or a related industry
- Experience leading regulatory inspections and third-party certification audits
- Strong knowledge of sanitation programs, food safety systems, and regulatory requirements
- Working knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, FSMA, and Preventive Controls
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in manufacturing and distribution environments and conduct facility inspections
- Travel approximately 30–60% between facilities
- Work weekends or alternate shifts as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Environmental Health, Industrial Management, or a related field
- HACCP Certification
- PCQI Certification
- SQF Practitioner Certification
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills
