Job Summary
Regional Sales Systems Manager – Africa responsibilities include leading the strategy, governance, and optimization of MSI’s Africa sales systems ecosystem, driving standardisation, scalability, and integration across markets to improve sales performance and operational efficiency. The role owners data accuracy (>95%), KPI definition and tracking, and real-time visibility of commercial performance across the region, and acts as a regional leader influencing country programmes, distributors, and cross‐functional teams to adopt best‐in‐class systems and disciplined sales processes. The candidate will design dashboards and reporting structures for commercial teams, work with IT teams and vendors, and drive adoption of systems and processes to enable sustainable growth. Strong context in Africa markets is essential, with prior experience working physically within Africa and ability to base the role in the Africa region. Required and preferred experiences include SFA/CRM management, data governance, multi‐country rollouts, working with distributors and field teams, and familiarity with FMCG/pharmaceutical/consumer health sectors. A degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Management, Supply Chain, or related field is desirable or equivalent practical experience.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8+ years of experience in sales operations, systems implementation, CRM/SFA management
- Experience harmonising or rolling out systems across multiple countries or regions
- Experience working with sales teams or in sales roles in the field
- Experience driving sales performance improvement through systems or processes
- Experience managing data accuracy improvement initiatives
- Experience working with distributors and commercial field teams
- Experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, consumer health, or socially marketed products preferred
- Significant experience working within Africa markets is essential, with a strong understanding of local commercial environments, distributor models, and field sales realities.
- Formal education/qualification: degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Management, Supply Chain, or a related field is desirable, or equivalent practical experience.
