Job Summary
Regional Sales Support Engineer to drive capital equipment sales of Sandvik vibrating screens and feeders in Africa by submitting proposals, providing technical solutions, and ensuring market penetration. Responsibilities include supporting greenfields install base tenders, participating in the Sales Development EMEA team, offering quotation support for inquiries, developing tailored customer success/Win plans, creating training materials and resources, and acting as a primary point of contact for clients to ensure onboarding and continued product adoption. The role emphasizes collaboration with sales/marketing, tracking KPIs related to customer satisfaction and account growth, and flexibly coordinating with teams across time zones while complying with health and safety in mining/plant environments.
Required Qualifications
- Professional qualification at the level of Mechanical Engineer or Metallurgical Engineer or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience in the proposal environment specifically with regards to vibrating screens and feeders.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
