Job Summary
Oversee sales efforts at each Oakmont Management Community by establishing marketing plans, managing budgets, and ensuring onsite sales processes meet Oakmont standards. Provide ongoing training to sales staff on the Tour Experience, Concierge Welcoming Standards, and productivity goals while monitoring lead-to-tour and tour-to-deposit ratios. Conduct mystery shops to ensure quality control and manage direct mail lists through high-speed marketing or selected company channels. Establish inside and outside sales call expectations, help plan annual sales meetings, and communicate regularly with Executive Directors regarding team performance. Travel up to 95% of the time across assigned communities in Southern California, with assignments that may change frequently or extend for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Living experience
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years working in the senior industry in a sales capacity
- experience with direct sales in Memory Care and Assisted Living
- Ability to read, write and speak the English language and to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, residents, and their families
- highly motivated and able to work independently without supervision
- pass a criminal record clearance and health and drug screening prior to employment
- willing and able to travel a minimum of 50% of the time
- vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases
