Job Summary
Develop and grow long-term relationships with college and university bookstore partners across the Eastern United States territory. Prospect, qualify, and acquire new campus accounts while executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and margin goals. Conduct on-site visits to provide consultative recommendations on textbook sourcing, inventory management, and buyback programs. Negotiate purchasing agreements and pricing strategies, analyze enrollment trends to drive strategic decisions, and coordinate textbook buyback events. Maintain accurate CRM records and represent the company at industry conferences. Requires 50–75% travel, a valid driver's license, and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience in one or more of the following: Sales, Account Management, Higher Education, College Bookstore Operations, Educational Publishing, Textbook Wholesale Distribution
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while managing a large geographic territory
- Ability to travel approximately 50%75% throughout the Eastern United States
- Valid driver's license

- Experience with: College bookstore operations, Textbook buyback programs, Inventory management and forecasting, Course material management, Higher education procurement, CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems
