Job Summary
Regional Sales/Business Development Manager for Western Canada with responsibility for driving revenue through project-based equipment sales and service opportunities in an industrial manufacturing/infrastructure context. Develop and execute territory sales strategy, identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, manage a robust CRM pipeline (project opportunities, direct end users, industry influencers), conduct presentations, site visits, product demonstrations, and facility tours, lead bid follow-up and tender analysis, forecast sales performance, collaborate with engineering/project management/installations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery, and work with inside sales to ensure timely proposals and documentation. Requires post-secondary education in business or engineering, 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience in related industries, strong relationship-building with technical and executive stakeholders, CRM proficiency, negotiation and closing acumen, excellent communication/presentation skills, organization, self-motivation, and willingness to travel within the territory. Experience engaging with architects, consultants, contractors, or facility operators is an asset.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 7–10+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in manufacturing, infrastructure, construction, or engineered solutions
- Experience managing complex project sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with technical, operational, and executive decision-makers
- Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools for pipeline management and forecasting
- Proven ability to negotiate and close sales while maintaining customer relationships
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
