Job Summary
Lead regional sales strategy across multiple categories for premium poultry and proteins, manage trade spend and pricing, develop joint business plans with retailers, negotiate contracts, and drive distribution and shelf presence across Southwest region. Travel 30% to customer locations; collaborate with Marketing, Category Management, and Supply Chain; ensure compliance with food safety and sustainability; serve as the proactive voice of the customer and translate retailer goals into actionable business plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
- 3-5 years related work experience (CPG industries and/or Meat/Poultry)
- Direct or relevant experience with Southwest Region retailers
- Strong communication, analytical and planning skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Experience with data-driven selling and syndicated data (Circana/Nielsen)
- Proven ability to manage trade spend, pricing strategy, and margin performance
