Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager (Sleep) will lead Jazz Pharmaceuticals’ Sleep sales force in the Mid-Atlantic region, manage a team of Specialty Sales Consultants (retail and specialty pharmacy distribution), ensure compliant promotion to physicians and healthcare providers, coach and develop team members, implement regional marketing and launch strategies, oversee regional budgeting, build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, and drive achievement of sales targets across managed care and hospital segments. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, PDMA, Pharma Code, OIG), cross-functional collaboration, and extensive travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3+ years pharmaceutical sales management experience; management of a specialty pharmaceutical sales team or hospital sales team is preferred
- At least five years of medical and/or pharmaceutical product sales experience, to include two to three years of specialist/hospital sales experience, preferably in the area of sleep and/or CNS/Neuroscience
- Working knowledge of healthcare payment and reimbursement systems in retail, hospital and specialty segments
- Planning and execution of a successful launch with push and pull through strategies of new products
- Leading sales teams in a virtual environment
- Leading a diverse sales portfolio team in rare disease and retail settings
- Experience in leading sales teams in managed care pull through initiatives
- Extensive travel required
