Job Summary
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve company targets while monitoring performance metrics and identifying new business opportunities. Lead, coach, and motivate a network of Independent Manufacturing Sales Representatives and Distributors, conducting regular performance reviews and providing professional development. Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and delivering tailored solutions based on identified needs. Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, analyzing market trends and competitor activities to drive growth. Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and ensure timely product delivery. Manage the regional sales budget, tracking expenditures to maximize profit margins and maintain compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing or a related field
- 7+ years of overall sales experience
- at least 3 years in a hunter role focused on Memory or Solid State Drive technologies
- Fluency in business German and business English
- Hunter mentality with self-starter initiative
- Strong knowledge of sales techniques, market research, and CRM software
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed decisions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in Semiconductor sales to the Networking, Telecom, Server, Storage, Cloud, Industrial, Medical, Aerospace, and Defense markets
- Proficiency in sales management software (e.g., Salesforce)
- Location anywhere in the DACH region outside of Germany
- Ability to travel within the region and especially to Germany
