Job Summary
Lead a team of telephonic and field-based sales professionals toward meeting objectives in new sales revenue, retention, and market penetration. Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales goals while controlling expenses and developing effective branch business plans with accurate revenue forecasts. Determine long- and short-term goals for the branch based on organizational strategy, identify competitive threats, and build relationships with key accounts to drive growth. Collaborate with Sales, Segment, Marketing, and Product teams to optimize resource utilization and translate company objectives into actionable sales programs. Recruit, retain, and motivate top talent while defining measurable expectations and evaluating performance against standards. Utilize required sales processes and tools to ensure adoption of core values and effective negotiation skills. Requires 7+ years of sales experience, leadership background, and ability to travel locally or overnight.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- At least 7 years of demonstrated successful sales experience preferably in a complex solutions or B2B environment
- 5 or more years of proven sales leadership and management experience
- Strong leadership and teambuilding skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and across the organization to achieve group and organizational goals
- Understanding and expertise in computer hardware and software including Windows XP, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and the Internet
- Strong time management, organizational and forecasting skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation skills
- Solid negotiation skills and the ability to network effectively both internally and externally
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Executive level communication and presentation skills
- Requires local or overnight travel
- Ability to lift/carry laptop or IPad and other sales materials up to 25 lbs
