Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager in the Greater Columbus area leading inside and outside sales teams in building materials/construction. Build relationships with architects, contractors, home builders; craft and execute strategic sales plans to expand market penetration; drive growth through new product introductions and territory expansion; motivate and guide the sales team to achieve KPIs with dashboards; oversee project management with safety compliance and on-time completion; manage key accounts as a working manager; develop showroom/product mix to attract customers; collaborate with vendors in Columbus; prepare status reports, track budgets, and manage contractor schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus
- Proven experience leading inside and outside sales teams
- Established network within construction industry (GCs, architects, home builders)
- Track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies
- Strong understanding of technical product requirements, drawings, financial analysis, and pricing strategies
- Willingness to travel up to 50% within Central Ohio (Greater Columbus area) with minimal overnight stays
- Valid driver's license meeting company fleet insurance safety requirements
