Regional Sales Manager, Performance Coatings Distribution

Job Summary
Lead regional growth for Performance Coatings by expanding distributor networks, managing national accounts, and driving private-label opportunities across AZ/NV/CA with a focus on industrial, commercial, aerospace, and high-end residential markets. Deliver product demonstrations and technical training to distributors and partners, develop area growth plans, negotiate distribution agreements, and maintain a disciplined sales pipeline using Salesforce; travel ~70% with a home base in Phoenix, AZ or Southern California.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in high-performance coatings (epoxies, urethane cements, sealers, decorative systems)
- Minimum 3 years of distribution sales experience, including negotiating agreements and managing national accounts
- Track record of building and scaling distribution networks for both branded and private label programs
- Strong relationships with contractors, owners, and supply partners
- Skilled in closing complex deals, managing pricing strategies, and overcoming technical and value objections
- Excellent presentation, training, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to execute independently in a fast-paced, travel-intensive role
- Proficient in Salesforce and virtual collaboration tools
- Ability to travel 70% - Territory: AZ, NV, and CA
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
