Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager for NW Texas & Oklahoma responsible for driving adoption and sale of Dialight's LED lighting products in heavy industrial and hazardous markets. Manage relationships with distributors, manufacturers' representatives, contractors, specifiers, and facility personnel (maintenance, plant electricians, project engineers, health and safety engineers). Execute SSL strategy, identify opportunities in key verticals, and grow market share through channel partnerships and end users. Maintain sales pipeline using Salesforce.com, provide input on sales plans and product requirements, and report actual sales performance against objectives. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business or Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and five years of consultative sales experience in heavy industrial/hazardous environments; must be willing to travel within the territory; strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills; experience with Salesforce or AGI and industrial lighting products in hazardous locations preferred. This role reports to the Director of Sales and offers a base salary with benefits plus commissions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- five years of consultative sales to heavy industrial and hazardous marketplace
- ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings
- proficiency with Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint; Salesforce or AGI experience preferred
